The Strebel S-ASX family of commercially sized Air Source Heat Pumpsoffer a wide range of high KW outputs and excellent flow rate performances with maximum stable outlet temperatures from 65°C – 75°C using a choice of three refrigerants (R410A, R454B and R290) subject to your requirements.
All of the listed heat pumps shown below can be cascaded up to 16 units to deliver KW outputs from 50 – 1600kW* (*subject to models used)
High Temperature Heat Pump Units
The S-ASX-VP range of 60-100 kW models uses R410Arefrigerant to offer stable outlet temperatures up to 68°C to deliver LTHW and DHW services by using a liquid and vapour injection methodinto the refrigerant circuit to deliver this high KW output, high temperature and high SCOP, making it a perfect model for retrofit & new build applications. The S-ASX-VP i55 (55kW) is also available, with an Max outlet temperature of 65°C by using an inverter driven compressor, enabling outputs to be modulated down to as low as 20kW for periods of lower heat demand.
The S-ASX-LQ range of 55-95 kW heat pump models feature a liquid injection R410A circuit which can deliver a stable heat as per the VP model, albeit with a comparative greater drop-off in power output at lower ambient air temperatures.
The S-ASX-LP range of 50 – 90kW offers heating system designers the combination of high output and high efficiency by combining proven twin scroll soft start compressor technology using R454B refrigerant with a low GWP of 467. The S-ASX-LP range can deliver outputs up to 60°C in operating conditions down to ambient air temperature of 5°C. If a higher output temperature is required, then the S-ASX-VP (Vapour Injection) unit is available which can deliver outlet heat of up to 68°C down to ambient air temperatures of -20°C.
The S-ASX-NT range of 60-90 kW heat pump models have the benefit of an ultralow GWP of 3 by using R290 (Propane) to deliver a high output temperature of 72°C. The S-ASX-NTi (25 & 45kW) heat pumps can deliver outputs up to 75°C, making it the perfect system to deliver a heat source for DHW storage calorifiers.
