Bottling Plant gets a little “Helec help” to reduce rising energy charges

The Helec project team were once again busy in September setting up a 200 kWe containerised CHP unit to deliver much needed low cost site power and hot water to a well established bottling plant in Dudley, West Midlands.
This KE-MNG 200 eco containerised CHP, built by build partner Gentec, was specified by Helec Limited to deliver site side electrical power and thermal heat in order to support and reduce the processing & operating costs.
The 200 kWe CHP unit is designed to generate 75% of the sites current energy requirement at reduced costs compared to the current grid charges, saving approx. £130,663.00 per year.
